గోధే రాసిన  ‘’ ఫాస్ట్ ‘’నాటకం

మహాకవి కాళిదాసు రచించిన ‘’అభిజ్ఞాన శాకుంతలం ‘’నాటకం చదివిన జర్మన్ నాటక కథ ,విమర్శకుడు దార్శనికుడు గోధే ఆనందం తో నృత్యం చేశాడని ‘’దివి ని భువి ని కలిపిన మహత్తర నాటకం ‘’అని శ్లాఘిన్చాడని చదివినప్పటి నుంచి ఆయనపై మహా క్రేజు ఏర్పడింది ఆయన రచనలు చదవాలనే కోరిక కలిగింది .అది ఇప్పుడు తీరింది .అయన రాసిన ఫాస్ట్ నాటకానికి గొప్ప పేరుంది అది చదివే భాగ్యం కలిగింది .పెంగ్విన్ వారు ప్రచురించిన పేపెర్ పాక్ ఎడిషన్ అది .

గోదే గురించిన పరిచయం అద్భుతం గా ఉంది ‘’All intelligent thoughts have already been thought .what is necessary is only to try to think them again .ఇంటర్నెట్ లో ఆయన వెబ్ లో ఈ మాటలున్నాయి .గోదే అసలు పూర్తీ పేరు ‘’జోహాన్నో ఉల్ఫ్ గాంగ్ గోదే’’ .’’నేచురల్ ఫిలాసఫర్ ‘’అంటారు ఆయన్ను .జర్మనీ రోమాన్స్ సాహిత్యం లో శిఖర సద్రుశుడే కాదు సంపూర్ణ జర్మన్ కూడా గోదే .82ఏళ్ళ నిండు జీవితాన్ని గడిపాడు .ఫాస్ట్ అనే ఈ నాటకం గురించిన ఆలోచనలు  60  ఏళ్ళు గా ఆయన మనసులో సుళ్ళు  తిరుగుతూ ఉన్నాయి ..ఇక్కడ మన కవి సామ్రాట్  విశ్వనాధ గారు’’కల్ప  వృక్షం ‘’పై పడిన మధన  జ్ఞాపకం  వస్తుంది . దాదాపు ఆయన తన జీవితమంతా దీనికే కృషి చేశాడు .

గోదే తన 20వ ఏట’’ ఫాస్ట్ ‘’రచన ప్రారంభించాడు .51వ ఏట దానిని పూర్తీ చేశాడు .రెండవ భాగం పూర్తీ అయేసరికి ఆయన జీవిత నాటకమూ సమాప్తి చెందింది .ఈ నాటకాన్ని ‘’Faust is a complex work of idealism ,removed from the human conflict of conscience and love that the pet gives in part 1,with aan ardour and a vivacity of temperament for which he he has been idolized.in his own country and else where .’’అందుకే నెమో శాకుంతల నాటకం చదివి గోదే  అంత ఉత్సాహ పడ్డాడు .యవ్వన దశ లోను ముసలి తనం లోను జీవితాన్ని ‘’స్ట్రాంగ్ ఐరానిక్ స్క్రుటిని ‘’తో చూసిన వాడు .దీనిని తన తోటి వారికి ప్రేమ తో సమర్పించిన పుస్తకం ఇది .అందుకే ఆయన అంటాడు ‘’Why have I sought my path with fervent care –if not in hope to bring my brothers there ?’’The paths of Goethe’s inner being of his wit and of his passion are vivid in his  faust’’ .’’అన్నారు విశ్లేషకులు .1587లో ఇది ప్రచురితమైంది .

అప్పుడు ఉన్న కాలాన్ని ‘’ఏజ్ ఆఫ్ యెన్ లైటన్ మెంట్ ‘’ అంటారు .’’in ages of skepticism like our own ,men disowning religion have been impatient with all barriers of convention and have sought to satisfy their vague hunger by grasping at occult powers that seemed to lie beyond the keen of pedant authority ‘’.ఇదీ ఆ యుగ లక్షణం .అయితే  ఫాస్ట్   నాటకం లో ‘scetical spirit is grave and mature ,except when he is goaded to bitterness ,in any case one must not identify Gothe withF aust any more than Mephistopheles –for their creator was bigger than the two of them .Gothe intended egotism as faust ;s  faulta.అందులో ఫాస్ట్ పాత్ర దారి తో ‘’my name is Faust in every thing thy equal .’’అని ‘’only the fruit ful thing is true .’’అన్న గోతే టెస్టమెంట్  వాక్యానికి ఇది దర్పణం అన్నారు .ఈ నాటకాన్ని ‘’big dramatic poem rather than a play ‘’అని కీర్తిస్తారు .అంటే మన అప్పా రావు గారి కన్యా శుల్కం నాటకం లా అన్న మాట .నాటకాన్ని స్టేజి మీద ఆడటం కష్టం .చదివి ఆనందించాల్సిందే .గోదే ని ‘’Germany ‘s foremost lyric poet ‘’గా ఆరాధిస్తారు .’’German language is homeliar than English .Gothe is the world’s most convincing portrait of satan and cynicism scoffing negation is the keynote of his intellectuality ‘’అంటారు .గోదే తన రచన ను ‘’హైబ్రిడ్ ‘’అన్నాడు భావ శుద్ధి తో .ఆయన రచనలో సెక్స్ అనేది ‘’tribunal of self ‘’.the true action of love lies in a willing death of self ,where by life is saved  in a richer continuity ‘’.అని .గోదే రచన ను ఇంగ్లీష్ లోకి అనువదించి ముందు మాట రాసిన రచయిత‘’ఫిలిప్ వేన్’’.
